Mandi is an executive chef trapped in the body of a social media and marketing professional. Her favorite part of cooking is chopping the ingredients with a large chef’s knife, which may or may not be related to her love of the television show Dexter. Some day Mandi hopes to cook for large groups of people, either entertaining in her home or owning her own restaurant in Door County, WI, but most likely both. Her favorite food is sushi, which, ironically, requires little-to-no cooking but a rather large amount of chopping (wink, wink), and her favorite Wisconsin-made product is Rehorst Gin made in Milwaukee by Great Lakes Distillery.

Jessie began her culinary career by watching hours of Food Network at the University of Minnesota.  The Twin Cities Food and Wine Experience honed her taste buds to allow her to successfully incorporate various wines and beers with the perfect complimentary dish.  Jessie’s favorite part of cooking is when her loving husband does the dishes (hint, hint). She looks forward to her co-ownership of the restaurant in Door County, along with a prime time cooking show on Food Network. Jessie’s favorite cuisine is Indian for the wide range of savory flavors.  For the most authentic Wisconsin experience, Jessie recommends indulging in the Lake Front Brewery tour, followed by their Friday night Fish Fry.

Although he is not quite the caliber of a Food Network judge, Evan is very lucky to be the official taste-tester for the aforementioned brains of Cream City Cuisine. Aside from the privilege of eating the food featured here, he also contributes to any grill-related recipes and is a master of all food that comes out of a box that has instructions on it. Evan is also the technical mind behind the operation and handles the web hosting, upkeep, and site design. As any true Wisconsinite would know, the very best products Wisconsin has to offer are the large variety of locally produced cheeses.
